Safety On Site (SOS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Marc Tanner to deliver advanced medical and sports-medicine care to motorsport athletes nationwide. From on-site trauma stabilization to regenerative and performance recovery services, SOS has provided over $2 million in free medical care to professional and amateur racers through its mission of giving back to the racing community.

Our Mission

SOS bridges the gap between emergency medicine and performance care by providing riders with immediate, high-level treatment at races and events. Our mobile medical team is staffed by board-certified physicians and licensed providers who deliver services ranging from concussion evaluations and IV hydration to digital X-ray imaging and advanced regenerative therapy.
